MUSANZE — At least 400 members of traditional government program – Itorero- of Musanze district over the weekend received mobile telephone handsets on credit.
Handing over the solar-charged facilities worth Frw13, 000 each, to be paid within 12 months, the Minister of Local government, Protais Musoni, asked the group to be instrumental in sowing seeds of economic revolution, by working hard and striving to change the society, instead of the society changing them.
"Itorero should be the role-model of the society in setting the pace of economic revolution; by changing the perception of others and orienting their activities towards getting rich quick,’’ Musoni told the group christened Inyangakugoma.
Musoni who had earlier awarded the group certificates of recognition, said economic revolution should underline quality production to compete with the developing countries.
