It was sad learning of the death of sports presenter Shyaka Claver of Radio 10 on Thursday. Shyaka, who was also a first year sociology student at Kigali Independent University (ULK), will be missed. His voice, comments, sports advice will be missed forever.
He was a kind, social, open, humble and loving man. His sudden death broke our hearts as recently as last week, he played in a journalists’ match against artistes without any visible issues. My condolences go to his wife with whom they lived together as man and wife for only a few months.
Angels have come and taken him to be with his Creator for eternity. In heaven there is peace where lovely people meet and live forever.
Life is eternal and love is immortal, death is only a horizon and the horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. May his soul rest in eternal peace

Editor,
It is with deep sorrow and shock that the Rwanda Rugby Fraternity has learnt of the sudden and untimely death of their friend, fellow sportsman, journalist, presenter and commentator, Shyaka Claver.
The great effort, enthusiasm and passion he exhibited towards the communication and representation of the Rugby game and all the other sports disciplines shall always be remembered and forever appreciated.
This is a great loss to the entire Rwanda sports fraternity. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
