RWANDA’s duo of Jean Baptista Hakizimana and Emmanuel Ruterana fell under the Indian Ocean threatening blustery weather to exit from the KCB East African Golf Tour at Nyali golf club.
Ruterana and Hakizimana fired 80 and 82 on the second day of the KCB East Africa Grand finale tour to miss the cut.
Finishing outside the 24 golfers on the second day denied them a chance to proceed to the third and fourth rounds were they could taste on the Kshs 3 million purse at stake.
In the opening round, Hakizimana and Ruterana had fired 78 and 79 to finish in 29th and 34th positions.
Kenya’s Dismas Indiza continued with his charge as he shot 71 to maintain the overall lead at the helm of leader board and enhance his real hunt for the big pay cheque of KSh525, 000.
