NYAGATARE - As presidential campaigns came to an end, Party for Progress and Concord (PPC) candidate, Dr. Alivera Mukabaramba, has promised her supporters in Nyagatare District that if elected President, she will construct more schools to promote education in the Eastern Province.
She was addressing about 50 supporters who had accompanied her.

‘There has been a serious problem of children studying under trees in this province particularly in Nyagatare. If PPC takes the presidency, it intends to construct many classrooms to end this issue that has been rampant,” she said.

Mukabaramba arrived at Umutara Polytechnic University play ground in Nyagatare sector at around 2.30pm.
The candidate added that on top of her priorities, improving farming and food security in the province will be her plan, if elected into office.

"My party will also set up factories to facilitate your production, but this will be attained after we have trained you to form cooperatives,” she said.
