I was pleased to read in The New Times of August 6, that Laico Hotel, Kigali is going to spend Rwf 15bn on renovations. While this hotel used to be among the best in the country a few years ago, it is now a tad bit ragged looking.

With this renovation the hotel will rightfully take back its place in the annals of top hotels in Rwanda. And I won’t worry about recommending the hotel to tourists.
