The RPF candidate, Paul Kagame, yesterday, campaigned in the districts of Kirehe and Ngoma in the Eastern province, attracting large crowds. Some of the residents spoke to The New Times’ Edmund Kagire about their overwhelming support Kagame.

We have seen a lot happen in the last 7 years, especially in the education sector. All children can now get primary and secondary education for free which was not the case. Kagame has brought this country this far, women have rights, justice is accessed by all. I want to see this continue in the next seven years.
