Having read the interview that Patrick Karegyeya gave to the Ugandan newspaper, The Observer, all I can hope is that he was grossly misquoted. Because if he wasn’t, then I feel only sadness and defiance.

Sadness that a Rwandan can stoop so low, and defiance when I hear him call for war, It seems that his mind has become muddled.

To think that Rwanda is a dictatorship is a falsehood and the August 9 presidential election is proof to the contrary.

To paraphrase His Excellency, he is a mongrel barking while the steam train that is Rwanda, races past without noticing the barking.
