Keza Ruzima is a 15-year-old Rwandan teenager who was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She lives in Canada with her father Jeannot Ruzima.

At her tender age, Keza has been able to publish two teenage novels which have gained popularity both in Canada and other African English speaking countries.

Keza told Teen Times that her success in writing "is as a result of the support she gets from her close friends and family members.”

According to her website www.kezatips.com, Keza has always been passionate about reading and writing.

As she grew up, Keza developed her reading and writing skills, and at the age of 11, she felt confident and ready to write her own books. By her 12th birthday, she had already penned down her first book "The Friendship Mess.”

Keza has also recently published another book called "Girl Power.” The book is about four girls who help a schoolmate adjust to a new life and find themselves learning much more than they expected. The novel is based on her life experiences—she creates a uniquely inspiring story that focuses on friendship, the spirit of giving and the ability to make a difference.

In 2009, Keza was honoured with the "Youth Award” by the Rwanda Diaspora Convention for being a successful example to the young generation through her writing talent.

She advises other teenage to love reading if they want to be successful writers just like her.

Keza loves music and is a very good piano player. She also writes short stories that are available on her website.
