Having watched the first presidential debate, where representatives of the four political parties vying for the presidency debated live on Rwanda TV, I cant help but admire the state of our national politics.

There was no name calling and what not, and issues were addressed. While I won’t attempt to change anyone’s political leaning, I must say that the RPF representative James Musoni convinced me the most.

That is why I will vote for President Paul Kagame next week. I urge all Rwandans to do the same. The last seven years have been great, and I feel that he deserves another seven years to consolidate further the nation’s development.
