As the country celebrates the 7th edition of FESPAD (Pan-African Dance Festival), the big question is whether dance is a profitable profession in Rwanda. Society Magazine’s LINDA MBABAZI asked some Rwandans what they thought about taking up professional dance as a career.
"No. I don’t think anyone can survive on dance only because Rwandans don’t value dance. Maybe in five years time, people will value dance.”
