I have been following with keen interest the campaigning for the forthcoming presidential election. Please allow me to congratulate your newspaper for the detailed and exhaustive coverage of the election process.

Please allow me to also congratulate the Government of Rwanda, the Rwandan Police and most of all the people of Rwanda for maintaining calm and peace during this period of campaigning.

"Tora Kagame Paul”, is a slogan which resounds these days and rightly so. After all, who can deny the fact that it has been the incumbent President who has transformed the nation from what it was after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi to what it is today? And who can deny the fact that it is the ruling party with its good governance and sound economic policies which have placed the country high up in world rankings?

Continuity is a key factor in any development process and it is continuity which will ensure that this great nation continues its march forward in the years to come.

I am confident that the people of Rwanda will vote for continuity and for the right candidate.
