When I heard that Electrogaz FC and Atraco FC had both been kicked out of the Rwandan premier league because they couldn’t pay players, I felt myself blush with shame.

How is it possible that these two teams, which are backed by such wealthy corporate patrons, can fail to pay these paltry salaries? When I look at Atraco FC, which, only a few years ago, was champion of the Cecafa region, I can only wonder at how low the club has sank.

As a fan of Rwandan football, I demand that Ferwafa institutes an investigation on club finances so that this debacle doesn’t occur again.
