Rwanda has done it again. I was at the stadium, on Saturday, for the opening ceremony of the Pan African Dance festival and I have never seen something like that before.

The dancing, the musicians and the general display of African culture was definitely something.

I enjoyed the fireworks, it something you do not see very often in Kigali, and that made the event even more special.

I was looking at the line up of artistes who will perform during the week long events, and I must say thank you to the organizers. Lauryn Hill, for example is a dream come true for me to see her live.

Through your paper, allow me thank the organizers and I hope that the event can be more advertised outside Rwanda.

I am sure many people would be more than happy to travel to this country to see what the FESPAD is all about.
