Having read that Rwanda is the least corrupt East African country, according to Transparency International, I want to thank each and every Rwandan for their stake in this.

We have low levels of corruption because of two things; the people refuse to use their influence and monies to get ahead of everyone else and because the civil servants refuse to ask for bribes and other forms of corruption.

Our good ranking was a collaborative process between every single stakeholder. However, we must not take our progress for granted. We haven’t removed the evil that is corruption from our borders.

Until that glorious day, we need to remain vigilant and strong. We must make our nation as corruption free as humanely possible.
