AS a die-hard member of the Anfield faithful, I was tickled pink by Liverpool’s signing of England international Joe Cole from Chelsea.

He is the piece that was missing from the Liverpool team; someone who could break a defence down through an outrageous piece of skill.

And he’s a proven goal scorer. With his signing, I hope that our main men Steve Gerrard and Fernando Torres stay and win things with Liverpool instead of running off.
