Its with a sad heart that I found out that Big Brother Africa is back. I cannot understand all the excitement. Viewers are made to look at a bunch of people, locked up in a house, do mundane things and laze about.

What is the point? I ask. People tell me that it is entertaining. Honestly, I find it worrying that we are so lacking in things to do that we’ll sit in a sofa and watch people on television do the exact same thing and then call it prime time television.

What is happening to human brain? I feel that programs like this one should be off air. They are a waste of time and money.
