Most of the time we tend to visualise ahead of us; the goals and plans for our lives, and many times we roll our eyes back to the past; acknowledging our mistakes, sometimes regretting the things we would have done better; but little times do we think, focus on our present and enjoy it, just as Joyce Meyer says it “enjoying your everyday life”.

Living with awareness of the present moment, focused on what is happening right now, rather than on the past or future, reveals how we are relating to our life experiences and the experiences of others.
Integrity, transformation, interdependence are elements of mindfulness of the present. Talking about compassion being the fourth element, leads us to start thinking less of ourselves and focus on others. If we live every moment of our lives, we become aware of the needs of our homes and societies.
As teens, we need to develop a compassionate heart towards the unfortunate.
There are fellow teens who shave their heads skin clean, not as style but because they are not sure of getting bucks again, there are those who have no education, those who don’t know the sweetness of a mattress, many suffering from malnutrition diseases, yet some kids are beaten to eat or throw food away.
Those who wear something new only on Christmas or the New Year; those who have abusive families and so, many other cases, you can mention.
The essence of all this, is to humble and know we live because of God’s grace so, we have to be aware of our every moment and every action, living with a compassionate heart towards others; since even a cup of water to a needy person will be considered in heaven. We all got something to give.
