Atraco’s new goal custodian signing Mohammed Mossi has been suspended indefinitely on grounds of indiscipline, club officials have confirmed.
Atraco vice president, Issa Ngenzi told Times Sport yesterday that the veteran shot-stopper was suspended last week.
However, the administrator could not clearly mention the nature of indiscipline acts the former Rwandan international was involved in.
"We decided to suspend him indefinitely following his indiscipline acts at the club. It’s not fair to mention the kind of acts that he was engaged in but the fact is that he was suspended indefinitely,” Ngenzi disclosed.
However, our investigations have unearthed that Mossi was suspend after Atraco’s league game with rivals Rayon Sport last week, which the former lost 2-0.
The 32-year old custodian is alleged to have ‘pocketed’ Frw300.000 from his former club to fix the game. Newly signed, Mossi has featured in just three fixtures for the taxi-men.
Before returning ‘home’ with Atraco, the temperamental shot-stopper was featuring for Uganda’s top division outfit Victor FC but he was expelled on indiscipline grounds too.
