UEFA president Michel Platini has been released from hospital and is expected to attend today’s World Cup final in Johannesburg.
Platini was taken to hospital on Friday night after collapsing in a restaurant after suffering from flu for the last few days.
He underwent tests which have shown no problems.
"All the medical tests conducted were normal and Mr Platini is looking forward to attending the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Soccer City stadium.” A statement from Fifa and Uefa read in part.
Initial reports had claimed that Platini had suffered a heart attack, but Uefa issued a statement to deny there was a serious problem.
