Police FC have announced that they canceled the contract of striker Onesme Twizerimana and parted company with him with immediate effect.
Club Secretary General CIP Obed Bikorimana told Times Sport that the forward was shown the exit door due to misconduct.
"Police football club has terminated the contract with Twizerimana Onesme due to gross misconduct, breach of contract and undermining the core values of the club," Bikorimana said.
Twizerimana was the club's leading scorer in the first round of the league with five goals as the law enforcers finished 10th on the table with 21 points.
Times Sport understands that Rayon Sport are now keen to sign Twizerimana as he comes as a cheaper alternative to Etincelles’ striker Moro Sumaila and Musanze's Peter Agblevor who are both on the club’s wish list.
