Mukura VS winger Abubakar Akuki Jibrine is optimistic that his side has what it takes to finish in the top four of the 2022/23 Rwanda Premier League
Mukura ended the first round of the league campaign sitting sixth on the table with 23 points and the Nigerian winger is confident the team can improve their performance during the second round to hit their top four target.
"The first half of the season was not bad but we will do more in the second round. I believe we can finish in the top four," Jibrine told Times Sport
"I am very positive of our capabilities as a team. We showed that against Rayon Sports and other teams. The second round we will surely excel," he added.
Jibrine has three goals and provided four assists to his name so far this season, a work rate he admits needs to improve to help his club get better results when the league returns to action on January 20.
"Personally, my objective is to score more goals and get a good number of assists. That can also help our quest to achieve our target," he said.
Jibrine joined Mukura as a free agent prior to the beginning of the 2021/2022 league season.
