I believe that if Rwanda is to have a strong national team, they must emulate the German set up, which has surprised so many people in the ingoing World Cup in South Africa.

While I don’t know whether the German team will win the Cup, I know that they’ve been one of the most interesting teams to watch.

Their emphasis on youth is to be commended. Maybe its time that we let our own veterans out to pasture. They’ve done their best and its time they rested and gave others a chance to become legends in the Rwandan game.

I mean the Gatete’s, the Karekezi’s and the Katauti’s. Sellas Tetteh should build a team that will grow and improve. We need new blood.
