Through your paper, I would like to appeal to Rwandans all over the world to stop spreading rumors about their country.

I have been reading in various media outlets stories that are not only fabricated but also attempt to taint the image of our beloved country.

Rwandan refugees reluctant to return home, claiming to be persecuted or asylum seekers attempting to justify their application have for long been fuelling reports that Rwanda is not a safe place to live.

As someone who has lived in this country for more than a decade, it beats my understanding that some Rwandans have chosen to take whoever lends them an ear, for a ride.
People should learn to have some respect for themselves, because at the end of the day, the truth will prevail.
