I want to use this opportunity to chastise all the so-called ‘politicians’ who go around lying to the media and saying all sorts of falsehoods. A few days ago while listening to the BBC’s Gahuza Miryango Kinyarwanda programme, I heard Victoire Ingabire telling the interviewer that her supporters were being tortured by Police in jail.

I simply don’t believe her. She has a history of lying and her statements should be taken with a pinch of salt.
