A football lesson for Brazil

Editor,

When Brazil was eliminated in yesterday’s quarter final, I was not surprised an inch. I used to be a fan of the Brazilian samba style of football, but ever since Dunga took up the team, they have been boring and the playmakers were not selected.

The humiliation by Holland should open their eyes so that they can resort to their entertaining and classy football.

Arjen Robben was great and with his team, they did not only give the fans a good time, but they made the Brazilians look like amateurs, especially in the final minutes.

Congratulations to the Dutch and may the glory days of Samba football be back soon.
