Employers in Kicukiro District have been urged to always remit monthly staff pensions on time and to avoid declaring false salaries.

The call was made by an officer of the Social Security Fund of Rwanda (SSFR), Odette Nyiramuzima, during a seminar that brought together over 200 employers from the district at Hilltop Hotel in Remera. She reminded them that late remittances attract unnecessary fines.

Nyiramuzima encouraged employers, especially those who have just launched their businesses, to register themselves and their employees with SSFR.

Participants said that most employers lack the basic knowledge about SSFR services, procedures and regulations.
