The government of Rwanda was accused by all and sundry of assassinating or attempting to assassinate its people. But the truth that is being revealed on a daily basis will soon leave eggs on the faces of those who peddled those lies, whatever their reasons.

The South African Police have already revealed the identities of the four men arrested on suspicion of being involved in the shooting of former Rwandan Ambassador to India, Kayumba Nyamwasa in Johannesburg two weeks ago and, lo behold, none of the suspects is Rwandan as it had been earlier suggested!

The member of the media fraternity that was killed on his doorstep wasn’t killed because of some article that his publication published, but, as the suspects revealed to the police, for purposes of revenge. We should take something from all this.

Maybe its time that we learn to wait and get all the relevant facts before we start taking rumors as fact. A little bit of intelligence shouldn’t be too much to ask, should it?
