RWANDA has confirmed participation in this year’s Cecafa U-20 Development Cup due in Asmara, Eritrea from August 14-28.

The local football federation, Ferwafa confirmed her participation noting that with the upcoming 2011 African Youth Championship qualifiers, the junior wasps will be good to go in the two week tourney.

Besides hosts Eritrea and Rwanda, Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye confirmed that Sudan, Kenya, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia and Zanzibar would also compete in the regional event.
