The more the markets, the better

EDITOR,
Having read about Prime Minister, Bernard Makuza’s commissioning of a fruit market in Kamonyi in yesterday’s paper, I would like to add my two cents. I think that building specialized markets all over the country is the way to go.
They provide a platform to farmers to show their goods, and make it easy for us, the customers, to shop. I’m wondering though, how is it possible that Kamonyi has a fruit market and Kigali doesn’t?
It doesn’t make sense to me. Do they expect Kigali residents to drive all the way there to buy a few bananas?
