EDITOR,

Well, that is fine as well. However, I’ve been writing about this issue for months and I haven’t seen a reply from the Mayor’s office. I have been living in Kimihurura for the last few years and all I can say about our road is that it’s terrible.
It’s impossible to drive for five meters without having to hear your car rattle because it’s hit a pothole.
Pedestrians face a huge problem as well.
Because there aren’t any sidewalks, pedestrians are forced to walk on the shoulder of the road; because cars are always swerving right and left to dodge the potholes. And when it rains, they get splashed on.
Although we do Umuganda and fill these holes with brick and stone, this solution works for only days. Then we go back to the same old. City Hall, shall our road get repaired? Please reply.
