The local football governing body, Ferwafa has named 31 players in the provisional Under-15 national football team.

The development came three days after a selection tournament at Amahoro Stadium that attracted players from the four provinces and Kigali.

At the end of the tournament, Kigali produced 16 players while the four provinces contributed 17.

Ferwafa’s Alloys Kanamugire who is in charge of sports development said that the provisional team has both skill and strength.

"The players are strong and tactful,” he said.
Kanamugire also noted that the idea is to regroup the team every holiday for exclusive training. He further said that the players would be followed up in their respective schools.
Provisional team;

Goalkeepers: Edson Rafiki, Danny Nduwayo, Alfred Habumugisha, Innocent Buregeya.

 Defenders: Jihad Rucogoza, Faustine Usengimana, Hussein Sibomana, David Gasana, Vadeste Tuyishime, Jean Claude Manzi, Jean Felix Mwiseneza, Serge Hategikimana and Heritier Byishimo

Midfielders: Jean Paul Manzi Gusenga, Gilbert Tugirimana, Maxime Sekamana, Eric Muhanuka, Patrick Ngarambe, Abouba N. Imana, Elvis Mutijima, Raul Habimana, Heritier Turatsinze, and Djafari Nsengiyumva.

Strikers: Floduard Muhire, Emmanuel Mutabazi, Regis Mateso, Fidel Ndayisenga, Ildebrande Nshimiyimana, Jean de Dieu Karanganwa, Fabrice Habineza and Innocent Kagiraneza.
