Challengers vs Indorwa
CHALLENGERS and Indorwa will lock horns this Sunday in the Computer Point T20 final at Kicukiro.
Challengers, who have luck to thank for reaching this far, cruised to the final after trouncing Kigali Cricket Club (KCC) by 63 runs last Sunday.
Challengers batted first setting a defendable score of 179. Sairam Gopalani (58) and Evode Mutuyimana (30) made good contributions. In reply, KCC could only post a paltry 116 thanks to two crucial wickets from Mutuyimana.
In the other semi-final, Indorwa edged Kicukiro College of Technology (KCT) by 17 runs. Having set a low score of 132, Nayan Patel dismantled KCT’s top order to finish with impressive bowling figures of 6 for 13.
