I am positive that many women have at one point in their lives bought an item of clothing or a pair of shoes and later just wished they hadn’t. Now if you have been in a shopping arcade and a sales lady is determined to make cash, chances are you will be buying something you might regret.

It is always nice to go into a shop that has a changing room so that you can try on whatever you fancy. But if it does not have one then that is a problem. Yes it looks fantastic on that mannequin and maybe it will look good on you too, but you just can’t be sure.
You need to know your size because that will help you choose something that flatters your body. It’s important to be comfortable. Some women just want to wear everything in fashion they don’t care if it suits them or not.
No one wants to see a 40 year old woman the size of a baby elephant, wearing really tight leggings and a top exposing her stomach. With some stretch marks on it too! This lady can wear something more suited for her age, more flattering for her body and still look stunning.
Sometimes the sales ladies can be really misleading. They will assure you how great you look in the outfit and how it has helped you shed off a few years, yet in actual sense you look pathetic.
What you need to do is go with an honest friend or relative who won’t shy away or be afraid to tell you what looks good on you and what doesn’t.
If it’s a pair of shoes make sure you try it on right there because some shoes have the wrong sizes on them. You will find a shoe that has size 6 on it and just rush to buy it because that is your size. On reaching home, that cute shoe has no plans of fitting you.
Because you don’t want your money to go to waste, you will squeeze into it. But then on a night out, trust me, that shoe will do more than just look cute. It will give you great discomfort or worse, blisters.
So many people just buy things because they are in fashion. Some female celebrities will get away with wearing these things but on us regular people, we just look silly.
Take singer Lady Gaga for example. That girl’s outfits are insane. British designer Alexander McQueen’s infamous armadillo heels are a favorite of Gaga’s. I think it is pretty much the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. No woman in her right senses can wear that shoe.
There were those hipster pants that had a little skirt on them. Another fashion outbreak I didn’t understand. Either wear the pants or the skirt but please not both. These things are not made for everyone.
Don’t just buy anything simply because it’s fashionable. And don’t buy clothes that are too tight, you might end up exposing more than you intended to show.
Take your time while shopping even if it means going to several different stores.
Eventually you will find something great and when you go to that party or that dinner, the hassle you went through will be so worth it.
