Goethe-Institut’s Director, Karin Kathofer, has indicated that they will promote not only the visual arts, but also dance, film, theatre, music and even children’s workshops.

It was a pleasure to read Linda Mbabazi’s very interesting article entitled " Goethe-Institut to promote arts in the country” in yesterday’s issue of your newspaper.
Goethe-Institut’s Director, Karin Kathofer, has indicated that they will promote not only the visual arts, but also dance, film, theatre, music and even children’s workshops. This initiative will help Rwanda in spreading its rich and diverse cultural heritage through the various programmes and exchanges that will be undertaken.
In Mumbai, the Goethe-Institut has been very pro-active and effective in promoting arts and culture and I wish Karin and her team at the Kigali Liaison office every success for the future.
