RUSIZI-Youth in Gashonga sector, Rusizi district, last week, constructed three houses for vulnerable people, in the area, as part of activities to launch the Youth week in the district.

The houses were constructed for three families who recently returned from Tanzania.

"We thank the government for recognizing our ability. We will offer out best to the country, through reaching out to the disadvantaged,” said Alexis Niyonzima, the youth coordinator in Gashonga Sector. 

Lambert Shema, the district youth executive secretary said that he considers voluntary work as a way of forging unity as well contributing to the district’s development.
