THE Los Angeles Clippers star Davis Baron is in Rwanda to promote the game of basketball. The NBA star, who jetted in on Thursday has held talks with the local basketball governing body (Ferwaba) on ways to developing the sport.
Baron is expected to attend some of the national league games today and tomorrow before holding talks with Ferwaba president Eric Salongo.
"It is great to have him in Rwanda and we have no doubt that we shall learn a lot from him,” Salongo said of the star who leaves on Wednesday.
Despite missing out on the play-offs this season, Boron still believes the Los Angeles Clippers can help him achieve his final goal of winning an NBA Championship before retiring.
