Champions Buffaloes open their title defense against Gorillas this afternoon at Rugunga playground. The Remera based side is aiming at winning an unprecedented four title in a row, according to former player and now coach Gerald Nsenga.

"We want to be the most successful rugby side in the country and by defending our title this season, we will have edged closer to that.

We expect stiffer competition this season because all clubs will definitely want to beat us,” Nsenga said.

The other league match will see last year’s runners up UNR Grizzlies play away against Puma who finished in fifth place.
On Sunday, Nyamirambo based side Lion de fer will host Sharks.
