I’m happy that the entire Peter Erlinder case has gone the way it has. The High Court granted bail on medical grounds to the embattled American defence lawyer. He was a sick man and I think that the judgment was smart. I found that the judges acted in a humanitarian manner.

I wonder if he will heed the calls of the Rwandan courts when he’s healthier; I have a funny feeling that he will ignore court summons although I might be pleasantly surprised.
