Pickup lines vary from one person to another; while most may be intentionally good, others are spoken with sheer ignorance. Some guys don’t even know what they are actually saying. I remember some guy once telling me that ‘Christmas had come early for him because I was first on his Christmas list’.
Now that would have been sweet if some other guy hadn’t told me the same thing. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that there’s none of these lines that would impress me, I just think that when you’ve heard one, you’ve heard them all.
Imagine a guy telling you that his love for you is like diarrhea because he just can’t hold it in. That’s just about the grossest thing I’ve ever heard. I don’t even know what these lines are supposed to do anyway.
My guess is that these lines are used when you are hoping to get lucky with someone. But with lines such as these, you will get so far from luck, no mode of transport can ever bring you back. Some of them are not as annoying as they are insulting.
Amanda, a second year student at a prestigious university was hanging out with her friends one night and this guy walks right up to her.

It is safe to use pick up lines if you are ready to deal with the consequences. They do work wonders for some people but not for all.
Some of you are now cursing and swearing and wondering what goes wrong everytime you lay strategies for a woman. The answer is simple; if you have to use a pickup line, make sure you absolutely know what it means and that that the other party won’t get offended by it.
At the end of the day, the best advice is to lose the pickup line and just be yourself. No one needs some cheesy line to express yourself. Being original shows you are comfortable with yourself and that you exude confidence. It never gets better than that.
