Jacques Rugamba is a local RnB, Hip-Hop Artiste who is popularly known as Jack-B. He says that although he spends sometime in the studio, he uses the weekend to have fun with friends. Below is how he does it.
My weekend starts on Friday night at about 11p.m. I get out of home to meet friends and the place is always Horizon Gardens. We discuss a lot including the challenges in the music industry and how to go about them.
I always find it hard leaving the place due the great music; I usually leave it at about mid-night. I may either go home or to Planet Club at KBC for a dance.
On Saturday, I spend the day checking on family members and friends if I do not get any visitor. I however spare at least 2 hours for the studio. I also go to Chocolate Restaurant in Kiyovu where I enjoy the cool and quiet environment.
I enjoy chips, rice and coffee for lunch in the same place. On Sunday, I go for the morning church service and later spend the rest of the day at home.
It’s such a day that I get the chance to share ideas with my parents and help them with some work too.
That makes my weekend perfect
