KIGALI Basketball Club (KBC) is looking to build on a great league start when they play back to back games against Espoir and Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) this weekend. Last Saturday, the debutants stunned many when they whacked CSK 92-60 at Primature.

"Espoir is a good team but we beat them in the Labour Day tournament and we know we can do it again,” the club coach Callixite Rutajogerwa said.

Another surprising result on the day was UGB’s narrow 52-49 win over reigning defending APR and the former will have themselves when they play National University of Rwanda (UNR) this afternoon and Rusizi tomorrow.

APR are looking to bounce back from their UGB agony when they host Rusizi today.The army side will also lock horns with UNR tomorrow.
