DESPITE qualifying for next year’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Sudan, Amavubi coach Sellas Tetteh concedes that there is still a lot of work to be done in arrears of tactical awareness.

"The boys did well against Tanzania but they need to improve before our first 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast,” the 52-year-old, who has been in charge of the tam for four months now said.

"I don’t want to reveal the weakness in the team now, but the technical committee which I’m part of is already working to try and improve some areas of the team,” the Ghanaian said.

Amavubi who secured a 1-0 over Tanzania’s Taifa Stars on Sunday qualified on goal aggregates (2-1) given that the first leg played in Dar es Salaam back in May had ended in a 1-all draw.

In Sudan, Rwanda will be making their debut in the event after failing to qualify for the first edition which was held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Some of the other teams to qualify for the Sudan event include Gabon, Ghana, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda.
