I would like to bring to the attention the possibilities that lie in having an account on Facebook. Facebook has become one of the most influential social networking sites that have globally redefined distance barriers. We are not complaining and in fact, we love it.

I love Facebook because I know what it means to live without internet. Facebook gives us a chance to share and connect with long lost friends, relatives and loved ones.

Proof of this was when I read of how an American mother living in South California found her long lost children through Facebook. Apparently the father of the children, Faustino Utrera, kidnapped them in 1995 when they were aged two and three.

Thanks to a diligent mother who never gave up the search for her children. Through Facebook, in March this year, she traced her long lost children who are now a 17-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy.

The point here is that, Rwandans shouldn’t take Facebook for granted; you never know you could trace your long lost friends and relatives whom you separated from years ago. They could be anywhere in the world just equally looking for you. Facebook could be the answer to finding them.
