The country’s policy on technology ought to be started right from the primary level if it is to make positive impacts.

Pupils need to be imparted with the basic technical skills so that they grow up in to reliable technicians and innovators who can push the country’s development ahead.

But it is a fact that many secondary schools have no laboratories to equip students with practical knowledge and the basis for technology development.

The Ministry of Education has not yet said anything in the respect of developing laboratories in secondary schools but has instead put much emphasis on technology development basing on no foundation.

Students should be given the right education to perform and pass well.
