FOURTEEN foreign clubs are set to spice up the 12th Genocide Memorial Volleyball tournament which gets underway this morning in three venues; Amahoro indoor stadium, Kimisagara and Kigali Institute of Education (KIE).

Uganda entered nine teams; Burundi is fielding five while Rwanda entered ten in the two-day event which will be played on a round robin format in the preliminaries.

According to the executive secretary of the national volleyball federation (FRVB) Gertrude Kubwimana, the top three sides in both categories will walk away with trophies and cash prizes.

Male teams; Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC), Kampala City Council (KCC), Sport, Nemo Stars, and Nkumba University, Amikan, Rukinjo, Foudrbs, Muzinga, APR, KVC, UNR, UNATEK, Christ Roi, and St.Joseph.

Female teams; KVC, KCC, Nkumba University, Nemo Stars, Rumuli, APR, RRA, Ruhango and ESI.
