Ketsia Umutoni, a senior two student won the pageant, after strutting confidently on the catwalk and correctly answering all the questions. She wore a strapless black gown that made he look glamouraous.
Ritah Mutoni, S.4 and Joella Umutesi, S.3 emerged as the 1st and 2nd runner-ups respectively.
"I am glad to be the winner and I promise to promote teamwork in my school,” the excited beauty queen vowed.
The event was organized by Miss Rwanda, Grace Bahati in collaboration with Hope For Future and the Anti-crime club in LDK.
"The aim of the event was to fundraise for the orphans in Kanombe sector and to crown Miss LDK 2010,” Bahati told The New Times.
She added: "It was also a way of motivating young girls in schools, as well as to promote gender equality.”
Upcoming artists, Just Family and K8 Kavuyo, entertained the students.
