NATIONAL University of Rwanda (UNR) has received cricket kit worth Rwf8m from the local cricket governing body (RCA). The kit which was recently handed over to the varsity’s director of sports Albert Kayiranga includes cricket flicks, batting pads, gloves, bats and balls.

According to RCA’s administrative officer, Robert Mugisha, the kit is meant to ease UNR’s preparations for September’s inter-university tournament.

Other universities expected to grace the event include ISAE Busogo, Kicukiro College of Technology (KCT) and Mutara Polytechnic.
