Editor,
Confusion was the order of the day, early this week, as passengers on the Kimironko route hopped and leaped out of moving vehicles at the Chez Lando stage. There was no major event happening at the stadium, neither was there a reason as to why passengers were not permitted to off-board the taxis and buses they travelled in.
Honestly, the chaos was hilarious yet dangerous as ladies in skirts and gentlemen in suits jumped off the slowly moving taxis. It is high time Rwandans learnt the necessity of communication.
If traders on that street have an issue with busses stopping in front of their shops they should pass an announcement or find an alternative stage where passengers can board from.
Otherwise such situations become expensive and an inconvenience for people or those in hurry to walk all the way from the Stadium stop back to Kisimenti or from the Bosejour Hotel to Kisimenti simply because they cannot get off a bus at Chez Lando.
