THE national basketball league is scheduled to throw off this Saturday. According to the Secretary General of the local basketball federation (Ferwaba) Jean Lucien Mugabo, eight male teams will grace this year’s edition and they include defending champions APR, UNR, CSK, Espoir, UGB, KIE, Rusizi and two debutants (Kigali Basketball Club and a Ferwaba select side dominated by U-18 players). The female category includes APR, UNR and KIE.
