PRIZE money amounting to Rwf1.3m will be shared by the most outstanding teams in the two-day Coupe du Rwanda event which spills off today.

The annual competition has attracted six male clubs and six female clubs. The men’s category is spearheaded by reigning champions APR, UNR and their string side (UNR B), KVC, Unatek and Nonas while APR, UNR, Ruhango, Lycee de Nyanza, Saint Espirit and RRA make up the ladies’ fray.

Preliminary action is scheduled for today while the semi-finals and finals will be staged at Amahoro tomorrow.

The winners will pocket Rwf0.3m (men) and Rwf0.2m (women) respectively courtesy of Sonarwa.
